The borders of Berry, 16 km from Nevers, on the banks of the Allier, stands the castle Apremont remnant of a great Anglo-Burgundian fortress, owned since 1722 by the same family, in the female line.

At his feet lies a medieval village, with picturesque houses with flowers.

In 1970, a floral park is open to the public to develop the site. This garden, the "Thousand and One Nights", the rarest species, features of "madness" in the spirit of the second half of the 18th century, such as the Bridge Pagoda with its roof scales, or the Turkish Pavilion yet the Belvedere overlooking the river and the roofs of the village.
