The town of Allouville-Bellefosse was born from the merger of the town of Bellefosse and Allouville in 1823. This town was blessed with all the shops and many artisans.
The fame of the village is made through the Millennium Oak housing two chapels.
In 2010, the town was awarded the Grand Special Jury Prize at the regional competition of cities and villages flowered and its first flower in the regional competition.
Allouville-Bellefosse village was the setting for the filming of Serge Pénard film in 1980 entitled " The Crazy Normans " : the subject was to get a major road at the foot of the oak.
