Allouville-Bellefosse

The town of Allouville-Bellefosse was born from the merger of the town of Bellefosse and Allouville in 1823. This town was blessed with all the shops and many artisans.

The fame of the village is made through the Millennium Oak housing two chapels.

In 2010, the town was awarded the Grand Special Jury Prize at the regional competition of cities and villages flowered and its first flower in the regional competition.

Allouville-Bellefosse village was the setting for the filming of Serge Pénard film in 1980 entitled " The Crazy Normans " : the subject was to get a major road at the foot of the oak.

The millennium oak: At the age of about 1,200 years old, this oak is located near the church on the town square. He is one of 200 outstanding trees of France. Its circumference at the base is 15 m. It has the distinction of having two chapels inside its trunk.
The Nature Museum: Established since 1981, presents the flora and fauna of the Caux region. It is coupled with a rescue center for oiled birds, but also for hedgehogs and seals (and any non-pet). It was there that created the machine démazouter birds.
The school of the 50s: The Alumni Association has reconstituted a class after the war. It is a true cave of Ali Baba, where are grouped books, books, games, clothes.... The site is open weekends and holidays from April to September, from 15h to 18h.

Caux Rétro – Tout ce qui Roule !
