The common Agnac, Canton de Lauzun, is located north of Lot-et-Garonne and borders of the Dordogne. It is mainly for agricultural purposes.

For the origin of the name Agnac, there are two assumptions:

• Agnac comes from the name of a Gallo-Roman Annius
• Agnac comes from the Latin meaning Agni Agua Water lamb

Agnac is formed by the union of two parishes that were before the concordat signed July 15, 1801: Agnac and Iffour.

On the common Agnac that the station was built in La Sauvetat du Dropt, which, between 1886 and 1953, had a certain animation served as 3 trains daily in both directions, Bordeaux, Bergerac and Marmande. The "Impudents, novel published in 1943, in which Marguerite Duras evokes the Lot-et-Garonne, recounts what happened rail.

• Church of Saint Sernin Romanesque (or Saint Saturnin) restored in the 19th with a triangular tower behind the rest of the wall and cross the Jubilee 1819 with Masonic attributes.
• Church Iffour with the 13th gate and entrance door hanger broken and decorated with a carved head.
• Medieval Bridge, said "or Old Bridge Roman Bridge" on the Dropt and straddling the joint and Agnac The Sauvetat du Dropt: it has 23 arches, 11 of Romanesque and Gothic 12 (classified under Historical Monuments).
• Manoir du Bout-du-Pont with its 16th century dovecote classified as an historic monument.

• Each year the festival runs from Agnac, around May 15 Program: Friday evening: Hiking Night (starting at 21h), followed by onion soup. On Saturday afternoon petanque contest. Sunday: garage sale all day (coffee and drinks offered to exhibitors). At 9am, the start of cycling (coffee, snacks and drinks offered in return).
• In June: the fires of St. John, grilled meals and torchlight.

• Bicycle touring circuit of the Duke of Lauzun circuit of 102 km and discover the "Pays de Lauzun (available at tourist offices).
• Circuit des Chateaux and Bastide towns in Guyenne.
