Village street a little more than 1500 inhabitants, Abreschviller follows the course of the upper valley of the Sarre Rouge for nearly 6 km, the last step before Donon summit of the Vosges sandstone.

Water Plan: Located on the recreation area, the water level of 1.4 ha is managed by the municipality. Swimming is supervised by a lifeguard during the months of July and August. It is open in the afternoons. Access to the water is free.

Bicycle: A bicycle trail connects beautifully crafted Abreschviller in Sarrebourg through villages Nitting, Lorquin Hermelange and Imling. The route used is the old railway line which once allowed the transport of logs. Pleasant walks in perspective. The trail is open to pedestrians, cyclists and rollerbladers and to discover some nice places between water and forest.
