A royal fortified town founded in the 13th century, now listed among the most beautiful villages of France, Sauveterre-de-Rouergue has preserved its typical character. 18 kilometres south of Sauveterre-de-Rouergue, you can see the Viaur railway viaduct, a metal construction from the early 20th century which crosses the verdant Viaur Valley.
