A real institution of world-class tennis, the Roland-Garros stadium in Paris' 16th arrondissement, near the Auteuil Gate and the Porte d'Auteuil Metro station named after it, doesn't just host high-level sports competitions. The site also includes a very interesting museum about the history of French tennis. With around 2,200 m² entirely dedicated to the world of the little yellow ball, you can see a permanent exhibition as well as themed exhibitions, a library and an educational workshop. You can also enjoy a guided tour behind the scenes at the stadium (booking required) to fathom the mysteries of this legendary place. You can thus admire the famous centre court and the locker rooms that have seen such famous athletes as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal pass through.

In May-June, Roland-Garros stadium gets ready to host its flagship tournament, the French Open, where spectators are thrilled by the exciting clay court matches!
