The Montbéliarde cow - Tourism in the Ain

Very present in the alpine pastures of Upper Jura, the Montbéliarde cow is recognizable by its red pied coat and white head. Its milk is used to produce several renowned AOC cheeses, such as Comté, Morbier and Bleu de Gex.
