A listed site, the romantic and picturesque gardens of Marqueyssac offer around a castle covered with eighteenth-century slate, over 6 kilometers of shaded walks, bordered by 150,000 hand-carved hundred-year-old box trees and decorated with belvederees, rockeries, waterfalls And theaters of greenery...

Activities for children... Entertainment is available at no extra charge. These are the "Curieux de Nature" workshops, during the school holidays of Easter and All Saints' Day, the weekends of May and June and every day in July and August, enabling them to do all kinds of things From natural elements. It is also the initiation to the climbing proposed every morning except Saturday in July and August.

... and in season for the whole family: Free and optional guided tours give the keys for a better approach of the site. An artisan-turner works under the eyes of the visitors cut boxwood during restoration work.

The "Via Ferrata", an acrobatic rock climbing course of 200 meters equipped with a continuous line of life allows a discovery of the valley full of sensations in safety (8 years and 1m30 minimum, sporting recommended).

"Candlelight evenings" every Thursday evening in July and August with musical entertainment.

Prices: 9 € for adults; 4,50 € for children from 10 to 17 years old; Free for children under 10 years.

Opening (over the year): Every day, all year round.

Opening hours: From 12 November to the end of January from 2 pm to 5 pm. In February-March and from October to 11 November from 10 am to 6 pm. In April-May-June and September from 10am to 7pm. In July and August from 9 am to 8 pm (evenings at Les Chandelles on Thursday evenings from 7 pm to midnight).
