South of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, on the banks of the Alène, the small town of Luzy, headquarters of a powerful barony in medieval times, invites you to discover its heritage.
The 14th-century Barons' Tower, a relic of the castle of the Barons of Luzy, contains within its walls a museum about the trades of yesteryear and the family life of the town's inhabitants in the early 20th century. Old agricultural tools, everyday utensils, old documents, a model of a coalman's cabin...there is so much to discover when you visit this site.
Luzy Town Hall, based in the Nault de Champagny Mansion, has a trophy room with eight superb Aubusson tapestries from the early 18th century, all listed Historic Monuments, telling the story of the life of the biblical heroine Esther.
