Additional information
Grimaud

Grimaud is a medieval village located on the heights of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in the heart of the Massif des Maures, in the Var. This little village, not to be confused with its neighbor Port-Grimaud (a lacustre town built by the architect Spoerry) has kept all the charm of a medieval city: narrow cobbled streets, Romanesque church, ruins of a 11th century castle, ramparts and old renovated mansions.

The village of Grimaud, built on a hillside, offers magnificent panoramic views and a sweetness of life that will delight visitors.

Things to see and do

Grimaud has a long history and a rich cultural heritage:

The castle of the eleventh century: classified Historic Monument, property of the Count of Senard (festival of the world music Grimaldines every summer).

The church of Saint-Michel: dating from the eleventh century, it was the most imposing of the region for a long time.

Several chapels in Grimaud: the chapel of Our Lady of Queste, the chapel of Saint-Roch and the chapel of the Penitents.

The valley of the Pont des Fées: walking tour to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the village. The Pont des Fées is an ancient aqueduct.

Very beautiful public or private beaches with stunning views of the village of Saint-Tropez.
