Futuroscope Park

In Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, near Poitiers, the Futuroscope Park has been open since 1987, offering fun sensory attractions on the theme of science and technology. Known far and wide, it has even won a world's best attraction award for two of its amusements: The Raving Rabbids Time Machine, and Arthur, the 4D Adventure.

There are around forty attractions to discover, each one more amazing than the one before it, taking you on extraordinary journeys beyond the stars. A new creation has been added for 2020: Destination Mars, a space-themed rollercoaster on which you can test your suitability for a mission to the Red Planet.

There are lots of adventures in store for children and grown-ups. With the Through Thomas Pesquet's Eyes attraction, relive the famous astronaut's space expedition, 400 kilometres above the Earth. Aboard the Extraordinary Journey, follow in the footsteps of Jules Verne on a round-the-world tour and become a birdman with your feet dangling in the air.

An area designed for younger visitors opened in 2019: Futuropolis, with twenty attractions where children can be pilots, lifeguards, firefighters, athletes...

The classic rides are always appreciated. Try the more established experiences and be turned upside down 7 metres above ground in Dances with Robots, accompany Scrat on his zany adventures in Ice Age, steer a lifeboat in Rescue Academy, bring the kids to meet their favourite heroes in Kinékid, explore the region with the thrilling saga of Dynamic Vienne, and in the evening, watch La Forge aux Étoiles, Futuroscope's aquatic fairy-tale fantasy created by Cirque du Soleil.
