A famous ski area in the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, near to Spain and Andorra, Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 covers two resorts, Font-Romeu and Bolquère-Pyrénées 2000. This vast area, from 1600 m to 2213 m in altitude, has 45 Alpine ski slopes and 22 Nordic ski slopes. A fun area especially for children and beginners, a snowpark for practitioners of freestyle skiing and a skating rink, as well as snowshoe walks and dog-sleighing are all on offer in the winter.
In the summer, a variety of open air activities are possible, such as rambling, mountain biking, tennis, horse-riding, fishing, climbing, orienteering or water sports at the resorts of Font-Romeu and Bolquère-Pyrénées 2000.
