Benefiting from a particularly unusual troglodyte setting and dense vegetation, the zoo of Doué-la-Fontaine is home to more than 70 animal species.

A must-visit in Anjou, the Bioparc is the only troglodyte zoo in the world! More than 1,200 animals have found an exceptional natural setting, devoted to the protection of endangered species. Dug into the rock, its tunnels will make you go from one world to another. A journey rich in emotions in a real mineral and vegetable labyrinth!

The Ghosts of the Himalayas: True elusive mountain ghosts, ibex markhor herbivore, carnivorous snow panther, and vultures vultures await you. Dare to take the tunnel leading to their steep territory and you will witness the spectacular meal of scavengers!
The Valley of the rhinoceros: Go to meet the fauna of the African plains. After the lions and cheetahs, walk along the valley carved into the rock to observe the imposing black rhinos and gazelles. For children: caresses with goats and gallery tours for a face-to-face meeting with the mongooses!
The Giraffe Camp: Aegrees of the Bioparc, the giraffes are waiting for you to taste their leaves daily! Also enjoy a privileged lunch at the restaurant open on the quarry they share with zebras.
The Bioparc is open every day, from the beginning of February holidays to the end of All Saints holidays.
