It is on a pretty hill in the surroundings of the Fontvieille city that is located the famous Daudet mill. This windmill can be visited and is home to the Alphonse-Daudet museum exhibiting souvenirs of the writer. The mechanism of the building is also explained. In contrary to what people often believe, Alphonse Daudet did not write "Les Lettres de mon Moulin" (Letters from my Mill) there.
