The Château de Bouges, located in the village of Bouges-le-Château in the heart of the Berry countryside, is an elegant, 18th-century Italian-style residence reminiscent of the Petit Trianon at the Palace of Versailles. The furnished rooms of the Prince of Talleyrand's former home are open to the public today: the drawing room, playroom, bedrooms and dining room contain a wonderful collection of furniture and objets d'art.

The château's mansard-roofed outbuildings are home to some fantastic stables, two saddleries and an exhibition of horse-drawn carriages.

The 80-hectare garden, a designated "Remarkable Garden" full of rare tree species, is a haven of peace and charm with a French-style formal garden, landscape garden, lake and cutting flower garden.
