Built in the 12th century on a promontory overlooking the Allier, the majestic fortress of Billy, the heritage of the Bourbons in the Middle Ages, stands proudly with its imposing gatehouse, oval surrounding wall and hexagonal watchtower.

You can visit it from April to October and discover the defence towers and the remains of the chapel, the history of the site, its anecdotes and a scale model representing the castle as it would have been in the 14th century. The round-way offers a superb panoramic view of the Allier Valley!
