A haven of greenery nestling on Belleville hill in Paris' 20th arrondissement, this very pleasant garden in the heart of the city was created in 1988 and covers around 45,000 m².
After a little stroll among its many trees and shrubs, you can go to the park terrace at the top of the hill to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Paris, the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse Tower!
In the Belleville garden, around 140 vines remind us of the area's wine-growing past, and the hundreds of kilos of grapes that are harvested there each year.
To round it all off, there's a children's play area with a wooden village, an outdoor theatre and ping-pong tables, as well as a large, beautiful fountain that cascades down the hill.
Not far from the park, the bustling shopping street of Rue de Belleville is the heart of this charmingly cosmopolitan neighbourhood. At number 72, you can see the birthplace of one of Paris' most famous singers, Édith Piaf.
