The path, which is in very good condition, climbs to a first flat section (about 1.5 km) then, after a short steep climb, you arrive at the vast Molière plateau overlooking the valley of Grenoble above the village of Engins. The path is then almost completely flat and passes through vast pastures where, in the summer months, you will find herds of grazing cattle. On offer are magnificent views over the French Alps as far as Mont-Blanc, easily recognisable in the distance. After about 5 km you will arrive at the Molière car park.
