Outings in Les Monthairons

Discover Flirey, its church destroyed during the First World War, its town planning based on the Nancy School (reconstruction of the village completed in 1923), and make your way through the forest to the national necropolis.

This 7-kilometre itinerary, green signposting, brings you close to the main military structures in Villey-Saint Villey-Saint-Étienne Forest: Vieux Canton Fort, the Nibarde Shelter or the Bas du Chêne structure, all built between 1890 and 1909.

This loop around Liverdun offers a view over the entire town and alternates between passages through the forest, the town and the banks of the Moselle.
