1 km from the centre, on the way to the Bonhomme Pass, a path leads off on the right and climbs up to the Grands-Prés farm-restaurant. Park here.
The walk starts on the left of the farm.
After starting out along a forest road, turn right and continue to a fork in the road and veer left. Leave Hardalle by climbing up through a plantation of pine trees. At the crossroads next to a house, take the path upwards on the left.
Continue to follow the blue discs and, at each fork in the road, veer left. Pass above the "Grange le Pour", a stopover gite in a farm (animals and refreshments).
When you arrive at the summit, pass a hunting shelter and continue to the flat area of land where you will find a large crossroads at the hamlet of "le Faing du Souche".
Turn left, pass beneath the power line and then veer right (beautiful panoramic viewpoint over the wooded slopes of the Louchbach and the Hautes-Chaumes). Descend along a wide path overlooking the Chaume valley and its stream on your right. At a fork in the road, descend the road for 200 m, then turn left at the hamlet of "Fourchon". Continue along this path to a road on the right that climbs up to the Grands-Prés farm-restaurant.
