Itinerary

Take the stone path along the car park towards the forest. At the edge of the forest, turn right and then immediately left and follow the path signposted with a blue cross, which follows the lake's embankment (1), at the end of which the Conservatory of Lorraine Sites has installed an information board. Take the time to visit the educational trail to discover the environments, fauna and flora of this lake.

When leaving the embankment, turn right on to the path signposted with a red dot and blue cross which leads to a gravel path which makes its way to Bouzey Lake. On the way out of the forest, after passing an information board, cross the tarmac road, follow the path signposted with a blue dot and a green dot on the right along the lake and pass the embankment (2). Turn left at the tarmac road between some houses. Continue along this small road along the lake and ignore all the streets on the right. Continue to follow the blue dot signposting and pass under a bridge (3) over the end of the lake. The tarmac road climbs up towards the forest.

When you arrive at the top of the hill, leave the path and turn right on to a path signposted with a blue circle and a blue dot which continues for 1.3 km through the forest. The path signposted with a blue circle leads along the lake to where you started out. Continue straight along the road uphill and return to the car park at the start of the walk.
