7.6

During this walk, you will follow in the footsteps of the Battle of Boulou (1793-94), but you will also discover the beauty of the landscape and the treasures of the local plant life. This battle is celebrated and is written on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but largely ignored by the general public. Information boards and an orientation table will allow you to relive the fighting, in 1793 and then in 1794, between the troops of French royalists and Spanish royalists. A detailed sheet about the walk is available from Boulou Tourist Office.
