Located on the edge of the Loire River, this design hotel is set in a historical building, which used to house Louis XI’s private stables. It includes a gourmet restaurant. Le Relais Louis XI offers elegant rooms and suites with charming features, such as claw-foot baths, fireplaces or parquet floors. Some have a view of the Loire Valley, and others overlook the garden. Each room and suite comes with a private bathroom with geothermal heating, and personal bathrobes are provided. Le Relais Louis XI’s restaurant serves cuisine based on seasonal and organic produce, some of which is grown in the Relais’s garden. Guests can relax in the lounge area by the fireplace, or outdoors on the terrace. The hotel provides free bicycle rental and, upon request, guests can also discover the region by hot-air balloon. The Louis XI is set in the heart of the Loire Valley, and is just 500 metres from the Meung-sur-Loire Castle. It is 5 km from the Cléry Saint André Basilica.
