A few places to visit in Lisieux and its surrounding area: - The Lisieux Cathedral was built between 1170 and the middle of the 13th century. This classic Gothic building is a former Roman Catholic cathedral and a national monument of France. - The Romano-Byzantine Basilique Sainte-Thérèse was designed by the Cordonniers and consecrated in July 1954.
