Every year, the Candé estate in Monts provides a bucolic setting for the Terre du Son festival during the second weekend in July. Taking place in front of a superb Renaissance château, this big, festive music event has distinguished itself over the years thanks to its varied, high-quality line-up and its work to protect the environment.
The festival in particular offers pop, rock, reggae and electro concerts in the countryside and activities and lectures on the theme of sustainable development. All musical styles are represented there and the festival has already welcomed renowned artists like Oxmo Puccino, Sanseverino, Skunk Anansie, Ken Boothe, Philippe Katerine, Moriarty, Thomas Fersen and many more.
There are many refreshment areas on the festival grounds with local, organic and seasonal products. There is an eco-village on the site with workshops for adults and children, debates, photography exhibitions, film screenings and charity stands.
