Summer:
- Early July: Hay festival. Enjoy a day of sharing around the theme of the local terroir of yesteryear with demonstrations and a craft market.
- July 14: National holiday. Torchlight procession, barbecue and fireworks.
- End of July: Sheep Festival, in July. Meet a shepherd and his flock (more than 2000 sheep) at the Col de la Croix de Fer. Eat a barbecue at 2000 m altitude!
- Early August: Alpine pastures celebrating. Day to discover mountain pastures, mountain agriculture with meeting breeders and their herds of dairy cows.
- Early August: Queen fights. Come and watch the head-to-head clashes of Hérens cows, renowned for their strong build and lively temperament.
- August 15: Festival + Folklore and traditions day. Discover mountain traditions and folklore and relive the trades of yesteryear! Followed by a tavern evening with barbecue, demonstrations, dance and fireworks. Presence of local associations.
- End of August: Livestock Fair. Attend this traditional festival bringing together farmers, animal lovers, local artisans and vacationers and enjoy entertainment as well as a Savoyard meal.
- And throughout the summer: Alpine treatment, muscle awakening and gym for adults and children, orienteering, welcome drink, Saint-Jean-d'Arves market...
Winter:
- December 25: Arrival of Santa Claus. Santa Claus will once again join the snow front of La Chal in a completely unusual way.
- December 31 - New Year: Party evening at Saint-Jean-d'Arves! It will begin with a surprise prepared by the Tourist Office on the snow front and will be followed by a demonstration and a torchlight descent by ski instructors and will be punctuated by a magnificent fireworks display!
- In January: “Gourmande” week. Extend the holiday spirit by continuing to enjoy lots of good things! Tasting of beers, cheeses, Savoie wines…
- End of January: “Well-being” week. Take care of your mind and body throughout the week.
- Early February: “Behind the scenes of the station” week. Who works behind the scenes at the Sybelles ski area? How does a ski resort work? Find out during this week of unique meetings and outings with resort professionals! Discover the jobs in the resort and access places that are usually inaccessible. The workings of the station will no longer hold any secrets for you!
- In March: “Savoie in the spotlight” week. A week of activities to honor Savoyard gastronomy as well as Savoyard traditions and heritage! On the program: visits to dairy cow farms, gourmet strolls with torches and lanterns, visit to the Collet chapel, craft market, Savoyard snack, Savoyard fondue workshop, VIP aperitif with locals, discoveries & meetings, tastings...
