Held in June every year, the Bélier VTT is a sports event dedicated to mountain activities and in particular mountain biking in all its forms. It takes place in the mountain resort of La Clusaz, renowned for its unspoilt environment and its 196 km of marked paths in the Aravis massif. The mountain biking competition lasts for three days and is open to all, with some of the challenges taking place at high altitude using the ski lifts.
Several disciplines feature in the event, like Enduro, DH, XC and mountain bike trekking. There is a fair to accompany the races, attended by exhibitors and partners. Sports activities complete the party: big air bag and trial demonstrations, zipline and summer luge for children, and free bike testing at the Roc Test Camp on dedicated trails. Parties and sports-themed entertainment are also in store on Friday and Saturday night, with live music in the bars and a friendly atmosphere.
