- The 9th edition of the Deux-Sèvres handi-valide raid will take place on the Pescalis site in Moncoutant (79) on April 27 and 28,2024 - In teams of 2 or 3, including one person with a motor or sensory disability, you can take part in the 2-day or 1-day option, with 12 nature-based activities. - The 2-day option includes a cycling orienteering race on Saturday afternoon, as well as a biathlon, and on Sunday the course with 12 nature activities.

- Moncoutant's Coup de Chœur choir presents its 2024 show. - The 115 choristers, aged from 7 to 77, offer a dynamic program of covers of French chanson hits. - Part of the proceeds will go to the "Les seins ? - Crystal Thomas, a grande dame of the Blues. - Winner of the prestigious Living Blues Award, Crystal Thomas sings on stages the world over with the raw fervor and emotion cultivated by the blues pioneers. - Crystal Thomas grew up in Mansfield, Louisiana, listening to Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed and Johnnie Taylor. She soon took up the trombone and began singing in church, in her community and later in juke joints. - She accompanied Johnnie Taylor, first as a trombonist, then as a singer when he discovered her exceptional voice. When Johnnie died, she joined Floyd Grisby's band, where she remained for fifteen years. - Her latest album, "Now Dig This", was recorded with an incredible cast : Lucky Peterson on organ, Chuck Rainey on bass, Jason Moeller on drums and Johnny Moeller on guitar.
