Every summer, Saint-Céré Festival welcomes over 150 artists
for a month, for four alternating lyric shows, two new creations and 40 events throughout the Lot department for 3 weeks. The productions created in this way then go on a tour of France during the following winter, giving over 50 performances. Saint-Céré Festival is a springboard for young singers, a place of experience and risk-taking in the field of opera music, and a vast forum with a large, mainstream audience. Meetings with artists, projects and the exceptional heritage of the Lot area (Castelnau Bretenoux Castle, Montal Castle, Cahors Castle, Carennac Cloisters) are part of this alchemy, which makes Saint-Céré a friendly and unique lyric festival.
