Southern Gothic Church built in the 14th century, the Collegiate Notre-Dame of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is the work of Cardinal Arnaud of Via, then nephew from Pope John XXII. Today classified in the historical monuments, it was originally a chapel of Canoin monastery deleted during the French Revolution. Since then, the collegiate is the parish of the municipality.
Completed by a bell tower at the beginning of the fourteenth century, the collegiate Notre-Dame unveils a large number of works of art of interest like the copy of the Pietà de Villeneuve or the Tomb in the Cardinal of VIA Cardinal.
