Villemandeur

Built in the feudal era, the Lisledon estate dates back to the 17th century. Around the Renaissance castle, the large landscaped park is freely accessible.

While strolling in the city, do not miss to appreciate the Plateville castle of the XIVth century, but transformed in the 19th century, and the Saint-Didier church. Rebuilt in the 19th century, it reveals the foundations of the 11th century.

Nature lovers will take the direction of the banks of Puiseaux and Vernisson to discover the meadow, a great place to observe the fauna and flora.

A weekly market is offered on Tuesday morning. Another market is held every third Sunday of the month, in the morning.

The field of Lisledon proposes the festival of Parks and Gardens each month of April. On the program, plants and local producers come to offer their honey or oil. An exhibition and a refreshment service are also present.

At the end of July, 4 days of celebration with a flea market over 4 to 5 km, a petanque tournament with 150 teams, a fireworks, a waitress race, or shows and a feast of gastronomy.

The first weekend of October, Villemandeur hosts the big autumn unpacking.

The municipality participates in the Telethon every year in December.

At the eastern exit of the town: Montargis, the Venice of Gâtinais, and streets on the water.
