  • Courses and Renaissance houses:
  • Courses and Renaissance houses along the Rue Nationale, they are reported by National street kiosks installed.
  • Rue du Faucon: It bears the name of the inn (North Building) which was until the mid 19th century's most famous Villefranche-post where horses stopped. The street is limited to the south by a picturesque half-timbered building which only the facade of No. 476 National Street is stone.
  • Gear of Fishery: Facades of 588 and 594 rue Nationale. While these two opposing facades although they often belonged to the same owners. Right on the front of 588, the mullioned windows are surmounted by ogee arches while the pinnacles hook and draw three vertical lines accentuate, typically Gothic. On the left, the facade of 594 is punctuated by ledges, three horizontal and vertical columns. The set is Renaissance. Nearly a century separates the construction dates of these two facades whose juxtaposition can compare two different architectural styles.
  • Gold Cup: 528 rue Nationale. This home was one of 1391 to 1770 the most famous hostels in the city. His court is a very beautiful architectural typical of the era of Louis XIV. A spiral staircase leads to two open cage floors lined with beautiful ironwork coursière classics.
  • Gallery of Wood: 514 rue Nationale. The court in any length on the south side is closed by a gallery of two floors made of wood, the only surviving example in Villefranche. This would cause the case of most, if not all the galleries. For arches hug the ground floor of trefoil arches are the first level based on pillars of oak. The set is typical of the Gothic style.
  • House Italian: 407 rue Nationale. It is the largest and most noble houses of Villefranche. A court of honor, the only example in Villefranche, separates the main body of the street. An elegant Renaissance gallery on the north side boundary. A spiral staircase provides access to a room where a spotter watching the rooftops of the city and gave the alarm in case of fire. A path forward to a second courtyard that opens rue Etienne Chicken, main artery of the old quarter of the barns.
  • Hotel Mignot de Bussy: 523 rue Nationale. This noble mansion belonged to the 17th century to the family of Bussy Mignot repeatedly exercised the duties of lieutenant general of the Bailiwick of Beaujolais. Louis stayed 14th November 23, 1658. Access to the court by a covered walkway to cross large warhead. It includes the traditional layout with a gallery and a spiral staircase whose summit is covered by a beautiful arch ribs. A kitchen with a beautiful fireplace occupied the east side. The set comes sumptuously be restored by the current owner.
  • Hotel Gayand: Place des Marais. Much altered in the 11th century, the court has several small sculptures on different bases supporting the intersecting ribs of the gallery or the eaves of windows. One can discover a little devil, dogs being beaten, a sexy little mermaid, a griffin coat of arms??
  • Home Giliquin: 810 rue Nationale. Enter through the gate of the Old Town Hall Passage. This house was built in the second half of the 16th and early 17th century. The court shows the usual appearance of the old courts of Villefranche with spiral staircase, a gallery with two floors and sinks. The arcades of the ground floor are arched, typically conventional. There is a west side at right angles quite unique in the city.
  • Old Town Hall: Head of Aldermen from 1529 to 1928 and the Town of Villefranche, the present building was rebuilt in 1581 after the destruction brought about by the Protestants of the Baron of Adrets First townhouse. It is gradually enlarged toward the court in 1589 and again in 1648. The work was completed in 1660 as evidenced by the date shown at the center of the facade. The building is turned into a Community House during the Revolution, as evidenced by the stone inscriptions in both the transition and became the Empire Hall. The buildings of the transition experienced a renewal in the 19th and 20th century. The National Street facade has three semicircular arches and rusticated stone topped by three mullioned windows of classical architecture.
  • Court of florets: Recently restored, this court has regained its glory of the late 15th century when Claude Gaspard, Alderman and Lord of Villefranche Su has been converted. There are the usual elements during Villefranche achieved voluntarily but ostentatious. Spiral columns at ground floor supporting the arches and lancet windows of the gallery. The other levels are based on columns involved. The western façade of the house behind this three-story mullioned windows surrounded by ribs reglet.   • Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame des Marais:
  • Launched in the second half of the 12th century, construction continued until the early 16th century. Each era has left a fingerprint characteristic.
  • Are still Romanesque arch barrel vault of the choir and transept of the former while the lancet windows of the aisles are typically Gothic (thirteenth century). The arches of the nave to walings and tiercerons are a little later (XIV-XV), while the facade of the early 16th is Gothic. The sculptural decoration, once abundant, has suffered from the Wars of Religion and the Revolution. The whole (external and internal) has been beautifully restored.
  • The organs deserve special mention. Built in 1834-1835 by Joseph Callinet, the organ of Notre-Dame des Marais at the time was innovative in the Archdiocese of Lyon as proscribed by the rite of Lyon. It is now classified as having been renovated several times.
  • Museums:
  • Paul Dini Museum, City Museum Villefranche-sur-Saône: Following the donation from Paul Dini and Muguette made to the town of Villefranche, the City Museum presents a panorama of pictorial creation of the Rhone Alpes region for over a century. The museum offers a chronological journey from the influence of the Barbizon school to new visions of contemporary art.
  • Heritage House: The Heritage House hosts temporary exhibitions illustrating the arts and popular traditions or enhancing the local heritage and the Museum of Conscripts.

  • Memorial Museum: It is dedicated to the memory of wars of 14-18 and 39-45, the release of Villefranche, the wars in Indochina and Algeria. He mentioned in particular the participation Villefranche during these conflicts.
  • Castle Vaurenard:
