Opened at the end of the 19th century, the Museum of Fine Arts and Archeology of Vienne, in Isère, takes place in the heart of the city, in the old grain hall. With a museography reminiscent of that of the great museums of the time, it unveils archaeological collections dating from the Neolithic to the end of Antiquity.
The museum also offers collections of earthenware and paintings from the 16th to the 20th century. On three levels, visitors can admire the relief of dolphins in gilded bronze, medieval carved holy water fonts or even bronze statues.
