Small medieval village located a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, in the department of Herault, Vic-la-Gardiole takes place between Montpellier and Frontignan, not far from Palavas-les-Flots.
The town of Vic-la-Gardiole was mainly developed in the Middle Ages, as evidenced by its Languedoc village. Focused mainly on agriculture, it remains known for its wine-making activity, notably with the production of small-grain muscatel. Part of the village is also placed in the Muscat de Mireval appellation and the other in the Muscat de Frontignan appellation.
Dynamic and rich in shops, the village of Vic-la-Gardiole also seduces with its architectural heritage of medieval times that punctuates the entire old center. Its proximity to some of the most beautiful cities in the region and the Mediterranean beaches also makes it an ideal place to spend holidays in the sun.
