A magnificent building with a slate roof, the Château de Marqueyssac takes place at Vézac, in the Périgord Noir. Listed as a Historic Monument, this 15th century building, completely remodeled in the 17th century, is mainly known for its park, a very beautiful boxwood garden topped with cypresses and dotted with cyclamen from Naples. The latter benefits from the Remarkable Garden label.
Visitors to the Château de Marqueyssac can enjoy more than six kilometers of walks in the middle of 150,000 hundred-year-old box trees. The Belvedere, installed on a rocky outcrop, offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of Périgord, with its valley and its castles.
