A late 17th century building erected by Louis XIV at Verrières-le-Buisson, the Château de Vilmorin originally served as a hunting lodge for the King of France before becoming a place of reception for Louise de la Vallière, his mistress.
Having become the property of the Vilmorin family at the beginning of the 19th century, the Château de Vilmorin was frequented by numerous embassies at the beginning of the 20th century. Today listed in the additional inventory of Historic Monuments, this architectural jewel takes place in the heart of a 4.5 hectare park classified as a Natural Reserve and known for its arboretum.
