St. Aventine chapel is a monument away from the town of Verrières in the hamlet of the same name. It is dedicated to a hermit who lived there in the sixth century. The chapel, built between the twelfth century and the sixteenth century, is the subject of a registration as a historic monument in 1926. It is a Romanesque chapel partly distorted by alterations in the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries.
It was restored in 2013 by the municipality (protection, the portal sealing, the eardrum and the window of the sacristy, rehabilitation tiled floors and benches on the right side of the chapel, rehabilitation tiled floors and benches of the left side of the chapel remains to program with the buildings of France).
