Ancient medieval fortress located in the municipality of Vernoux-en-Vivarais, in Ardèche, the castle of La Tourette is now the subject of a registration the inventory of Historical Monuments. In ruins, it was built in the thirteenth century and still has some elements of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries to discover outer visit.
Passing on the site of the castle of La Tourette, it is particularly possible to admire the square keep, a fortified house of the sixteenth century with fully restored guards, a terrace retaining wall which offers stunning views of the Gorge the Dunière or common.
