Things to see and do

Walking through the small town, you will especially appreciate the San Michele chapel, a religious edifice now in ruins and not far from the ancient castle of Caosina. Of Romanesque architecture, it was built around the ninth century and still has a beautiful baptismal font. Be sure not to admire the Sainte-Elisabeth-de-Hungary with its wooden statue of St. John the Evangelist church and its bell tower on three levels or the Sainte-Marguerite seventeenth century.

But it is mainly for its natural heritage as the common Ventiseri is appreciated by visitors. Difficult to resist the charms of the pond Palo, a beautiful natural lagoon of over 210 hectares presents a unique ecosystem.
