A charming little town in Gironde, in Aquitaine region Nova, Vayres takes place about twenty kilometers from the tourist town of Bordeaux. It is located in the Entre-Deux-Mers, on the banks of the Dordogne, near Fronsac, Libourne or Cadarsac.
Considered one of the oldest cities in the region, Vayres unveiled during archaeological excavations many remains from the Paleolithic. The municipality is mainly developed in the Middle Ages, from including in British hands from the mid-twelfth century and the mid-fifteenth. French returned at the end of the Hundred Years War, it still shows in the wine culture including the Graves wine Vayres.
This friendly city of the southwest of France continues to charm visitors with its charming landscapes of vineyards or interesting architectural heritage.
