Town situated high on a hill overlooking the valley Dessoubre plateau, the highest point being the point of view of Montaigu to 865 m altitude. The village is typical of the architecture of the houses of the 15th and 16th centuries, its stone walls and fountains.
Area suitable for fishing in the Dessoubre, the town is welcoming: cottages, cottages near a natural camping area equipped for the needs of campers. The village has retained its cheese which includes farmers and local milk producers. Agriculture is still the dominant activity.
