Covered Alley of La Hautière

Monument in Beaussais-sur-Mer

Also called the Tomb, the covered avenue of Hautière was excavated in the second half of the 19th century by Victor Micault. Listed as a Historic Monument, it measures nearly sixteen meters in length, with a chamber more than one meter wide.

The Hautière covered walkway was probably built during the Neolithic period.
