Located on the island of Costaérès, in the town of Trégastel, the castle of Costaérès takes place in the department of Côtes-d'Armor. In a neo-medieval style, this mansion dates from the end of the 19th century and was built for Bruno Abakanowicz, a Polish mathematician and inventor.
Entirely made of pink granite and slate, the building reveals an original architecture resulting from its numerous extensions over the years. Its interior was made using wood recovered from a three-masted ship aground at the time, the Maurice.
Private property, the castle of Costaérès unfortunately cannot be visited, but can be admired from the outside.
