Abbey of Lure

Monument in Tournans

Now listed as a Historic Monument, the ancient Lure Abbey was founded at the beginning of the 7th century. United with Murbach Abbey in the middle of the 16th century, today it only reveals a building housing the current sub-prefecture, as well as a few canonical houses.

The old Lure abbey still has an abbey palace from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as a botanical garden developed in the 1990s.
