Set in the historic heart of Toulouse at 20 of the rue Saint-Jacques, the mansion Lestang was built in the late sixteenth century, in 1593. Originally built for Lodeve bishop, he seduced by its amazing Renaissance architecture. Outside, it is possible to admire a particular portal hairpiece of classical architecture.
Partly listed historic monument, this impressive red brick building now houses the School District office Toulouse. It has undergone several restoration campaigns in the nineteenth and twentieth century, and in 1960, it was enlarged with the construction of a new building instead of common ones.
