The Toulouse exhibition center is currently located on the island of Ramier, near the city center.
It was built from 1952 to 1966 to plans by architect Pierre Glénat and expanded in 1987 and 1990.
To date, the park dedicated to hosting exhibitions and commercial and artistic events and sports competitions extends over an area of 90 000 m² of which 40,000 are covered (9 halls of 1500 to 7500 m²).
And are scheduled throughout the year the international fair, the fair habitat, Antique fairs or the Toulouse Game Show.
From autumn 2020 Toulouse have a new exhibition coupled with a convention center northwest of the city, near the airport.
The current fleet will be partly shaved as part of a new development on the island of Rainier, which will become a "green lung" with walking areas, recreation areas and outdoor theater.
