Tassin-la-Demi-Lune was born in Roman times, on one of four Roman roads that went from the old Ludgunum to Aquitaine, the Rhine, the Channel and Narbonne. 1 January 2015, the city joined the territorial community of the city of Lyon. Built in the early twentieth century, it was renovated in the early 2000s and was included in the inventory of Historical Monuments. This clock column is in stone of Saint-Martin-de-Senozan and can be climbed from the inside through a hollow space. Composed of four decorated dials each two allegories, it also has beautiful floral motifs.
Refurbished in 2007, the Saint-Claude dates from the mid-nineteenth century. Nearby, you can admire the bell tower of the old church that takes place in the priory.
Walking through the city, visitors can admire the ruins of the castle in the rise of the Rocks, and the remains of the white Grange Castle. Some wings of the castle were turned into independent houses around the Gambetta Avenue.
