Originally built in 1477 by a community of Dominicans, the church of Saint-Jean de Strasbourg is today the subject of an inscription in the Historic Monuments. Formerly dependent on the Saint-Marc Convent, it suffered significant damage during the bombardments of the Second World War, seeing only its walls and its steeple resist.
Completely rebuilt between 1962 and 1964, it still unveils today a single nave lit by two-lancet windows as well as, on its eastern facade, significant remains of wall frescoes.
