The Sollières-Sardières ski resort is located in Savoie, 15 km northeast of Modane.
Now part of the municipality of Val-Cenis, in Haute-Maurienne, the station is located in the hamlet of Sardières, on the left bank of the Cours de l'Arc.
On a plateau whose altitude ranges from 1300 to 1500 m, well exposed in terms of sunshine, is located the Monolith area which is dedicated to cross-country skiing with 35 km of marked and maintained trails.
Lovers of snowshoeing and dog sledding will also be delighted.
Note that a "nature" track is particularly intended for exploring the environment (trees, mountain animals). A dozen panels line the route.
All tracks have a point adjoining the Nordic Chalet, which is equipped with a heated room.
In addition, alpine ski enthusiasts can easily reach the slopes of Termignon and Aussois from Sollières-Sardières.
In summer, the resort is appreciated for its environment which lends itself to hiking and its archaeological museum (the site has been inhabited since prehistoric times).
