Military work located on the town of Six-Fours-les-Plages, in the Var, the fort of Six-Fours was built in the late nineteenth century to follow the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. Armed in the mid-1940s by the Germans in During the Second World War, it is now used by the communications service of the French Navy.
Located 200 meters above sea level, Fort Six-Fours is not accessible to the public.
